I can't login to the game, what now?

Please create a topic in the support forums with the exact error message you have been receiving. It might also be helpful to search our FAQ and forums for a solution.

I patched the game and now I can't login?

Please edit the server.ini file to reflect an older patch version. Next run the launcher. You should see the game patching begin. When it completes you will need to restart your computer and try launching again. If this solution doesn't help please create a topic in the support forums.

My game is freezing. What now?

If you recently installed software it may be in conflict with the game, if this is the case, please uninstall the program and restart your computer. If this doesn't work, try uninstalling SexyKO and installing a fresh copy. If both results fail to provide an adequate solution, please take screenshots and create a topic in the support forums.

I can't run the client on Windows Vista. What's wrong?

To run SexyKO using Windows Vista:

  1. Go to the Directory that you have installed SexyKO in (default C:Program Files\SexyKO).

  2. Find the following .exe files: Launcher.exe and KnightOnline.exe. Right click each
    application and select Properties from the drop down.

  3. Select the Compatibility tab.

  4. Select "Run this program in compatibility mode for: Windows XP (Service Pack 2)"

  5. Also select the box "Run this program as an administrator."

  6. Select OK.

Can I run SexyKO if I'm using Vista?

To run SexyKO using Windows Vista:
While Microsoft's Vista is not officially supported by SexyKO, it is possible to run the game if you have this operating system. To do so please follow the steps below:

  • Make sure you've upgraded to the latest service pack from Microsoft. You can get
    most updates to your operating system at the official site here
    http://www.microsoft.com/windows/default.aspx?icid=winvan
  • Make sure to install the game when running under your administrator
    account.
  • Once installed, right click on the SexyKO Launcher.
  • Click on “run the game as administrator”

Gameplay

What is bug abuse?

Bug abuse is taking advantage of or exploiting various game bugs (a temporary defect of game design) that occur during the lifespan of the game. Bug abuse is a bannable offense.

What is the master skill and how do I learn it?

Master skills are earned only when a player achieves level 60 and up since these skills are powerful. You cannot put more master skills than the level. For example a lvl 61 can only have 1 point in his/her master skills but a lvl 62 can have 2 points in his/her master skills.

How do I trade items?

To trade items with another player, click on the player and then in your chat window type /trade. Drag items that you want to trade into your trade window. When you are ready, click Trade. If you are buying/selling an item from someone, please be careful and double-check that it is the item that you are purchasing and if it is the correct amount of coins to avoid trade disputes.

How do I set up merchant mode?

To set up merchant, type /merchant in your chat window and set up your items by dragging them into the merchant slots and putting your price.

How many players can be in a party?

You can have up to 8 members in your party.

How do I send a private message?

Click on a player you wish to speak to and click Private. If the player is unavailable to click on type /pm in the chat window and the person's character name. For example: /private JohnDoe.

How do I get a cape?

Create a clan and reach Grade 3 which requires 144000 National Points or higher. Doing the subsequent Knight Quest will give your clan a cape.

How do I make my weapon glow?

Regular items needs to be upgraded to +8 with elemental for it to glow. Unique items are different and glow automatically once you unlock it with a blessed elemental. Temple items start to glow at +6.

How do I use the level 35 skill?

To use the level 35 blast scrolls you have to collect the scroll corresponding to the spell. All of these scrolls can be found from the boss Antares. Barons and Harungas also drop them but it is rare.

Where do I find abyss gems?

In the abyss dungeon at Delos called Desperation Abyss and Hell Abyss.

How do I use abyss gems?

Turn in your abyss gems to the NPC named Warehouse Keeper located near the Magic Anvil in Moradon.

What chance does my item have to break?

The higher + your item is the higher the chance it has to break. The Magic Anvil is random so be careful.

Where is the abyss dungeon?

In the Delos zone, in the back to the left. Follow the bridge around to the big door near the waterfall and click on it to enter.

How do I take a screenshot?

To take a screen shot press the - key on your numpad. The screenshot will be saved as a .KSC file automatically in your SexyKO folder. To convert to a .JPG, open the screenshot, go to File, click Save As and save as a .JPG.

There is a bug in the game where do I submit the bug?

To submit a bug report, go to our forums and create a topic in the bug report section. Please be as specific as possible in explaining the bug.

How do I prevent myself being hacked?

Make sure your account name is something that only you would know and make your passwords safer by using alpha-numerics. Also, be wary of downloading any unknown files from other people to prevent getting viruses. Never use the same account ID and password for any other games. Remember that we will never ask for your password.

How do I upgrade items?

What do you lose when your character dies?

If you character dies to another player, you lose 50 NP and half of your money. If your character dies from a monster you will lose 5% of your current level experience. Premium members will have experience level death rate reduced.

My character is stuck and cannot move

If your character is stuck and you can't move type /town and you should respawn in town. Make sure your Hit Points are above half otherwise this feature won't work.

What is a GM?

GM stands for Game Master. Game Masters coordinate events, keep the servers clean, and answer general players' questions.

How do I create a clan?

Go to Server 1. If you are Human, go to El Morad Castle and speak with the Inn Hostess. Select Create a Clan. It will cost 500,000 coins to start a clan. If you are Orc, go to Luferson Castle and repeat the same step with the Inn Hostess.

How do I disband a clan?

To disband your clan, pull up your Command menu located on the bottom right of your screen. Go to Clan and click Disband Clan.

How do I quit my clan?

To quit your clan, pull up your Command menu located on the bottom right of your screen. Go to Clan and then click Quit Clan.

What is the level cap?

With the new expansion, the previous level cap of 80 is now raised to level 83.

I was hacked! I want my stuff back!

Create a topic in the support section of the forums and depending on the circumstances we may be able to recover your items. This does not apply to people who choose to share their accounts or bought/sold an account. Ensure you change all information related to your account, including password, email, and secret answer, and make sure your computer is secure with an up-to-date antivirus.

How long am I banned?

Character ban length can be found on the Banned Users page.

I am receiving the error message "login failed" what do I do now?

Please attempt to login the game again. This error is normally caused by too many users attempting to login at one time. If the problem persists please create a topic in the forums.

Where do I ask for account support?

The support forum can be found here.

When I try connecting to the game server, sometimes I'm getting the message that "the account is currently in use".

This can happen when you have been disconnected from the gaming session and the server still lists you as still connected. Please create a topic in the support forum if the problem persists.

My (my clan's) national points aren't displaying correctly or my national points have been reset to 100!

National points can be removed or reset if someone is observed transferring national points. This activity goes against the spirit of the game and we reset points in order to keep the game fair and fun for all.

I purchased an item from the power up store but I didn't get it.

Please create a topic in the support forum and we will resolve it as soon as possible.

I want to change some information on my account but there is no option to.

At this time, there is no ability to change account information other than what is listed in the User Panel.

When I try to connect with one of my characters, I get disconnected every time.

This character has been blocked. If you feel that this was done in error, please submit a support request in our forums.

Can you please change my email?

Once an e-mail address has been verified during registration we will not change that address. We apologize for this inconvenience.

I saw someone (cheating, hacking, duping, other badness)! What can I do about it?

If you are going to report a cheater, please provide a screenshot or video and create a topic in the cheaters forum. Remember although we do take these reports into consideration when banning the cheaters, we cannot ban someone on just the word of other players.

I think I just got scammed or I don't want to get scammed what do I do?

When you are trading always make sure that the item you want is in the window when you click the trade button. Sometimes a scammer will close the window and reopen it and put a lower grade item in. So again make sure that you look at the item again before clicking trade. If this occurs, there is nothing we will do about it. Please make sure that what you are trading for, is in fact, what you wanted.

I don't seem to be receiving any emails regarding a password reset from SexyKO, why is that?

If you are not receiving any response emails from us, please make sure to also check your SPAM or JUNK folder in addition to your INBOX.

My account has been blocked! Is there any way that I can get unblocked?

When looking through the Banned Users list, you will be able to see the reason as to why you are blocked. Please also refer to the Policies page for further details on why a GM will block an account. If you feel that you have been wrongly blocked, you can create a topic in the support forum.

Person I share the account with took all my items! How can I get them back?

We do not support accounts that have had shared access. All issues with these accounts will have to be resolved between the users involved.

I can't seem to get past 10% on the loading screen, what is happening?

This issue can occur for several different reasons. One could be that the server can be undergoing maintenance. If that is the case please view the website for any information. Another thing you can do is clear out your temporary internet files and make sure you are clear of any viruses. The last reason is your character is blocked from accessing the server. If that is the case please check the Banned Users list for more information pertaining that block.

How long am I muted?

Character mute length can be found in the forum page containing your report.

How do I create a PayPal account?

To create a PayPal account, go to the PayPal website www.paypal.com and select the Sign Up link located on the left side of the screen, or choose the “Create a PayPal account" link when trying to make a donation.

Why is my PayPal account not working?

If you are having any problems with your PayPal account, go to the PayPal website and click on the Help menu.

I’m trying to make a donation but I am unable to.

We now require all users to verify their PayPal accounts. This is a very simple process involving adding a bank account to your PayPal account. It is completely risk-free and only takes a few minutes. Follow the steps here to verify your account.

How do I know if my payment has gone through or not?

Your History contains a log of all your PayPal transactions including details of the status of every transaction sent or received.

To view your History:

Go to My Account > History and select a date range from the dropdown box.

What currency will I be charged in?

PayPal donations made through SexyKO are conducted only in dollars.

I am not able to reach PayPal customer service.
